Your guests can be transported to the service and reception in our buses which can be suitably decorated for the occasion with ribbons and bows. Open top double deck buses are always very popular especially in the warmer summer months. Our friendly staff will discuss all the requirements and we recommend viewing the vehicles prior to the event.

Our Heritage Fleet

The Routemaster
The Routemaster, developed by London Transport after the second world war, has developed itself as a classic and the best loved London icon. Even with the demise of this famous bus from public service in 2005, these buses still remain close to the hearts of people from all generations and all parts of the world. Our 1960’s Routemaster buses are maticulously maintained and restored to provide an excellent transportation mode for most occasions and journeys. Built originally to transport a large amount of people through the streets of London, our buses can carry up to 62 people or provide an excellent venue for smaller groups. Our fleet also includes 1970’s Metrobus double decker which, also painted in London Tranport red, can carry up to 70 passengers.

Open Top bus
Armchair's open top bus is the best way to see the famous tourist sites of London or enjoy a countryside visit in the summer. It is the perfect way to host an event, party or even a promotional campaign for your customers. As seen in the photograph, our bus has been used for very memorable occasions, offering a unique way to make your day much more special. Up to 26 people may be seated downstairs and 36 people seated upstairs with room to store luggage. Make your day one to remember!

Tourist Industry Services
We can operate our services with on-board guides and are keen to be involved in the operation of Heritage Bus Services as partners with Local Authorities and Tourist Boards. Armchair also works with hotels and can produce itineraries and excursions for guests and also provide hotel transfers to and from airports and railway stations.
